Details:
Natural animal skins have been the traditional material used on banjos, and ancestral banjo related instruments, for centuries. They provide a warm, round tone and add a beautiful organic look and feel to any instrument.
These goat skins are from Pakistan, and are 16" in diameter, which is large enough for either an 11" or 12" banjo head. Thicknesses vary, but I would consider most to be Medium thickness, which generally produce the best tone for banjos. I do have some thin ones, as well as a few extra thick ones, if that is what you are after, though. Color and patterning vary and often translucent areas become more opaque or off-white during mounting and stretching, so don't be surprised if the pattern changes once the skin is stretched.
Let me know if you are after a certain thickness or degree of mottling.
